Players and Team

This is the price of an athlete that is charged to a player whenever they add them to their team. This price is directly proportional to the ICC ranking of the athlete with a higher price for top-ranking athletes. The athlete price varies between the 3 formats of the sport (ie Test, ODI and T20) and will depend on their respective ranking in that particular format.

All players are categorized into two mutually exclusive sets called Batsmen (BT) and Bowlers (BO). Some players are also tagged as All-Rounders (AL) and Wicket Keepers (WK).

The Team

To compete against others in a pool, players have to finalize their team by 1 hour before the start of the first match of the pool. Each team must consist of 11 players with:

  • At least one wicket-keeper

  • At least three batsmen with a maximum of six

  • At least one all-rounder

  • At least three bowlers with a maximum of six

The players need to also assign a Captain and a Vice - Captain for their team. The points scored by an athlete who is assigned the Captain is increased by a factor of 2 and that of a Vice-Captain is increased by a factor of 1.5.
