Pool

Pools are the contests or tournaments created by Stadium NFT holders.

All the information required to make a pool are:

1. Entry Cost in $SPL (Official Token of The SPL ecosystem)

2. Pool Type

3. The matches and sports format for which the pool is created

4. Budget Cap per player for team formation

5. Public (Open to all) or Private (Invite only) Pool

6. No of players allowed in the Pool

7. Stadium NFT holders commission for hosting the pool

8. [Optional] Additional reward in terms of token or NFT for the winner (only applicable in Winner Takes All pool type)

Once a pool is created by the NFT holder, it cannot be modified or deleted in any way.

Pool Types

We have the following pool types which have a varying Risk-to-Reward ratio :

1. 50/50

   The total pool money is divided among the top 50% of the players (Winners earn almost 2X their entry fee)

2. Winner Takes All

   The player with the highest number of points is declared the winner and gets the entire pool amount

3. 80/20 Pareto

   Top 20% of players get the entire price pool amount (Winners earn almost 5X their entry fee)

4. 80/20 Inverse Pareto

   Top 80% of players get the entire pool amount (Winners earn almost 1.25X their entry fee)
